Old barns, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic region, were often made with whatever wood was native to the area in which the barn was built: oak, maple, chestnut, cherry, etc. As the barn ages, the wood with which it was built turns grey and weathers, usually hiding what lies beneath. Yet, if one looks below the surface, we can find beautiful wood that has character and value. At Barnwood we look below the surface of the companies in which we invest. We believe that much value is ignored or lost simply because, at the surface, the company doesn’t look compelling. Below the surface, however, is where the value can be found.
The bottom line? You are first! At Barnwood Capital, we work diligently to help meet your financial needs and expectations. Our independence (our owners are our employees) allows us to focus on helping you achieve your financial goals (we have nothing to sell other than service) and, in doing so, we seek to build and retain the long-term relationships that clients seek.
